Will I lose access immediately after canceling?

No. Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free Hobby plan.

Can I get a refund if I cancel mid-cycle?

No. Formbricks' Terms of Service state that all payments are non-refundable with no credits for partial billing periods.

What happens to my data after I cancel?

Formbricks retains your data for 30 days after termination to allow for data migration. After 30 days, data is permanently deleted unless retention is required by law.

Can I downgrade instead of fully canceling?

Yes. On the Billing page you can click 'Switch at period end' to downgrade to a lower paid tier or to the free Hobby plan, which is free forever. This avoids losing your account entirely.

Can I undo a scheduled cancellation or downgrade?

Yes. Before the change takes effect at the end of the billing period, you can click 'Undo pending plan change' in the Billing settings to reverse it.

Do I need to contact support to cancel?

No. Cancellation is fully self-serve through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from the Billing tab in Organization Settings. No phone call or email is required.

Log in to Formbricks Cloud

Go to https://app.formbricks.com and sign in to your account.

Open Organization Settings

In the left sidebar, click on your organization name or the settings icon to open Organization Settings.

Go to Billing

In the Organization Settings menu, click the 'Billing' tab.

Click 'Manage billing details'

On the Billing page, click the 'Manage billing details' button. This opens a Stripe-hosted Customer Portal in a new session.

Cancel your plan in Stripe portal

Inside the Stripe Customer Portal, locate your active subscription and click 'Cancel plan'. You may be asked to select a cancellation reason.

Confirm cancellation

Review the cancellation confirmation screen and click 'Cancel plan' to confirm. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
