Can I cancel through the Arlo mobile app?

Yes — via the Arlo Secure App: tap the profile icon, select your Location, then tap Plan → Modify Plan → Cancel Plan. However, you can only cancel through the same method (web or app) you used to originally subscribe.

What happens to my cloud recordings when I cancel?

All cloud recordings are permanently deleted within 48 hours after your subscription end date. Download any recordings you want to keep before that window closes.

Will I receive a refund after canceling?

Arlo does not typically offer prorated refunds. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period and you will not be charged again afterward.

Will my cameras still work after I cancel?

Yes, your cameras continue to function for local live viewing and motion detection. However, cloud recording, activity zones, and other premium features are disabled once the subscription ends.

Can I reactivate my subscription later?

Yes. If you cancel (but do not delete your account), you can reactivate your plan at any time from the Subscription section at my.arlo.com. Note: deleting your Arlo account is permanent and cannot be undone.

Can Arlo Support cancel my subscription on my behalf?

No. Arlo Support cannot make changes to or cancel your plan for you. You must cancel directly through my.arlo.com or the Arlo Secure App.

Log in to your Arlo account

Go to my.arlo.com and sign in with your Arlo email and password.

Open the Secure menu

Click 'Secure' in the top navigation bar, then select 'My Arlo Account' from the dropdown.

Navigate to Subscription

In your account settings, scroll down in the left pane and click 'Subscription' to view your current plan details.

Click 'Cancel Subscription'

Click the 'Cancel Subscription' button. If you are on a free trial, instead click 'Manage' and then select 'Cancel Trial'.

Confirm cancellation

Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your cancellation. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Download your recordings (optional)

Before your subscription period ends, download any cloud recordings you want to keep. All cloud recordings are permanently deleted within 48 hours of the subscription end date.
