Can I get a refund after cancelling?

No. Rainforest QA's Terms of Service state that all fees are non-cancelable and non-refundable. The only narrow exceptions are a documented warranty breach (must be claimed within 30 days) or IP infringement, which would trigger a refund of unused prepaid fees only.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Reactivation is not addressed in Rainforest QA's public documentation. To restart service you would need to contact their sales team at rainforestqa.com and negotiate a new contract.

How much notice do I need to give to cancel?

You must provide written notice of non-renewal at least 60 days before the end of your current annual term. If you miss this window, your subscription automatically renews for another full 12-month term and you will owe the full year's fees.

Can I downgrade to the free plan instead of cancelling?

Rainforest QA offers a free Essentials tier with 5 hours of testing per month. You can ask your CSM or support team whether downgrading to the free tier is possible as an alternative to full cancellation, though this may still be subject to contract terms.

What if I subscribed through AWS Marketplace?

AWS Marketplace subscriptions follow the same non-refundable, 12-month contract policy. Contact Rainforest QA support at support@rainforestqa.com and coordinate with your AWS account settings to cancel the Marketplace subscription on both ends.

Check your renewal date

Log in to app.rainforestqa.com and go to Settings (gear icon) → Billing. Note your current plan start date — cancellation notice must be submitted at least 60 days before your annual renewal date or you will be locked in for another 12-month term.

Export all your data

Before cancelling, export all test suites, run histories, and configurations from your account. Rainforest QA can delete customer data immediately upon termination with no guaranteed retention window.

Contact support via email

Send a written cancellation notice to support@rainforestqa.com (or ar@rainforestqa.com for billing). State clearly that you are providing notice of non-renewal and include your account name and renewal date. Keep a copy of this email as proof of the 60-day written notice.

Contact your CSM (Enterprise accounts)

If you are on a Professional or Enterprise plan, contact your assigned Customer Success Manager directly via email or your dedicated Slack/Teams channel to submit the cancellation request. Expect a retention call or offer.

Use in-app chat as an alternative

Alternatively, use the in-app chat support (available Monday–Friday, 8am–8pm EST) to submit your cancellation notice. Ask for written confirmation that your notice has been received and logged.

Receive written confirmation

Wait for a confirmation email from Rainforest QA acknowledging your cancellation notice. Your access continues until the end of the current contract term. If you do not receive confirmation within 2 business days, follow up with ar@rainforestqa.com.
