Will I lose access immediately after canceling?

No. Your Pro plan stays active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account automatically downgrades to the free Hobby plan and you retain access to your data within Hobby limits.

Are there any cancellation fees or contracts?

No. Umami explicitly states there are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. You can cancel at any time.

Can I get a refund for an unused portion of my subscription?

Umami does not publicly document a prorated refund policy. If you need a refund for a mid-cycle cancellation, contact support at support@umami.is directly.

What happens to my analytics data after canceling?

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. Canceling the paid plan just downgrades you to the Hobby tier — your historical data remains accessible. If you want to delete your data, you must delete your account entirely via Settings → Account → Delete account.

How do I reactivate my Pro plan after canceling?

Go to Settings → Billing and click 'Upgrade to Pro' to start a new Stripe checkout. If you deleted your account, you can register a new account using the same email address.

Can I export my data before canceling?

Yes. Go to Settings → Data (cloud.umami.is/settings/data) to export all your analytics data before canceling or deleting your account.

Log in to Umami Cloud

Go to cloud.umami.is and sign in to your account.

Open your profile settings

Click the profile button in the left sidebar navigation, then select 'Settings'.

Go to the Billing tab

In Settings, click the 'Billing' tab to view your current plan and billing information.

Click 'Manage plan'

Click the 'Manage plan' button. This redirects you to the Stripe billing portal.

Cancel your plan in the Stripe portal

In the Stripe billing portal, select 'Cancel your Pro plan'. Stripe may ask for an optional cancellation reason — you can skip or complete it.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm the cancellation. Your Pro plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account automatically downgrades to the free Hobby plan.
