Will I lose access immediately after cancelling?

No. If you cancel mid-billing cycle, you retain all paid features until the end of the current billing period you have already paid for.

Will my files and data be deleted when I cancel?

No. Your existing files and content are not deleted. Your workspace is downgraded to the Free plan, and all your work remains accessible.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. You can restart your subscription at any time from the Subscription settings page. Your files and content will still be there.

Are there any refunds if I cancel early?

Whimsical does not explicitly advertise refunds for early cancellation. You keep access until the end of your paid period, but unused time is generally not refunded.

Will I get a final invoice after cancelling?

If you added editors during your current billing period, you may receive a final invoice — at the end of the subscription for monthly plans, or one month after cancellation for annual plans.

Who can cancel the subscription?

Only workspace admins have access to the Subscription settings page and can perform the cancellation.

Open your workspace menu

In the top-left corner of the Whimsical app, click on your workspace name to open the workspace menu.

Go to Subscription

In the dropdown menu that appears, click 'Subscription' to open the billing and subscription settings page.

Scroll to the bottom of the Subscription page

Scroll down to the bottom of the Subscription settings page where the cancellation option is located.

Click 'Cancel subscription'

Click the 'Cancel subscription' button at the bottom of the page. Note: only workspace admins can see and use this button.

Confirm cancellation

Follow any on-screen confirmation prompt to finalize your cancellation. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current paid billing cycle.
