What games will I lose access to when Game Pass ends?

You lose access to all Game Pass library titles unless you own them separately. Games added to your library via Game Pass are playable only while your subscription is active.

Can I keep games I downloaded through Game Pass?

No. Downloaded Game Pass titles become unplayable once your subscription ends. Games you purchased at a discount using the Game Pass member discount are yours permanently.

Is there a difference between Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold?

Xbox Live Gold has been replaced by Xbox Game Pass Core, which includes online multiplayer and a rotating library of free games. Game Pass Ultimate includes everything in Core plus the full Game Pass catalogue and PC Game Pass.

Go to Xbox account services

Open a browser and go to account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with your Microsoft account.

Find Xbox Game Pass

Locate your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC, or Core subscription in the list of active services.

Manage subscription

Click on the subscription and then click "Manage" to open the subscription management options.

Turn off recurring billing

Click "Cancel" or "Turn off recurring billing". Microsoft will show you the date your access will end before asking you to confirm.

Confirm cancellation

Click "Confirm cancellation". You will receive a confirmation email. Game Pass benefits continue until the end of your prepaid period.
