Do I still have access to Disney+ after I cancel?

Yes. Your subscription stays active until the end of your current billing period. You will not lose access immediately after cancelling.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

Disney does not offer prorated refunds for unused time on monthly plans. If you cancel within 7 days of your first subscription, you may be eligible — contact Disney+ support at help.disneyplus.com. Annual plan subscribers are not eligible for refunds after the billing date.

Can I reactivate my Disney+ subscription later?

Yes. Log back in, go to Account, and select "Restart Subscription". Your watch history, profiles, and preferences are retained for approximately 10 months after cancellation.

Does cancelling Disney+ delete my account and data?

No. Cancelling only stops billing. Your Disney account, profiles, watch history, and preferences remain intact. To delete your data, you must separately delete your Disney account or submit a data deletion request via Disney's Privacy Controls page.

What if I subscribed through Apple, Google, or Roku?

You must cancel through the platform you used to subscribe. For Apple: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Disney+. For Google Play: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Disney+. For Roku: highlight the Disney+ channel, press the star (*) button, then select Manage Subscription → Cancel Subscription.

Go to Disney+ and log in

Visit disneyplus.com and sign in with your email and password.

Open your Account

Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner, then select "Account" from the dropdown menu.

Find your Subscription

Scroll to the "Subscription" section on the Account page and click on your current plan.

Click Cancel Subscription

Scroll down and click the "Cancel Subscription" link (displayed in small red/grey text — intentionally de-emphasized in the UI).

Dismiss the retention offer

Disney presents an offer to switch to a cheaper ad-supported plan (Disney+ Basic). Click "Continue to Cancel" to bypass it.

Select cancellation reason

Choose a reason for cancellation from the dropdown (may be optional or required depending on your region).

Confirm cancellation

Click "Cancel Subscription" again to confirm. You will receive a confirmation email immediately after.
