Can I cancel an annual Retool plan early?

Within the first 7 days of signing up you can cancel via Settings > Billing and receive a full refund. After 7 days, self-service is blocked — you must email support@retool.com. Your plan will be cancelled but no prorated refund is issued; you retain access until the end of the paid term.

Will I get a refund when I cancel?

Monthly plans: no refund for partial months — billing stops at the next cycle. Annual plans: full refund only within the 7-day grace period. After that, fees are non-refundable per Retool's Terms of Service.

What happens to my apps after I cancel?

Downgrading to the Free plan does not delete your apps. You retain unlimited web and mobile apps but are capped at 5 users and 500 workflow runs per month. Features exclusive to paid plans (e.g., external users on Business) will be disabled.

How do I completely delete my Retool account?

How do I reactivate after cancelling?

How do I remove my credit card from Retool?

Log in to Retool

Go to https://[yourdomain].retool.com and log in with your admin account. Only organization admins can manage billing and cancel plans.

Open Settings

Click on 'Settings' in the left sidebar or top-right area of the Retool interface.

Go to Billing

In the Settings menu, click 'Billing' (also labeled 'Plans and Billing'). You can navigate directly to https://[yourdomain].retool.com/settings/billing.

Select a new plan

On the Billing page, view your current plan and click to change it. To fully cancel, select the 'Free' plan — this is the equivalent of cancellation for monthly subscribers (there is no dedicated 'Cancel' button).

Confirm the downgrade

Confirm the plan change. For monthly plans, the downgrade takes effect at the next billing cycle. Your apps are retained but usage is limited to 5 users and 500 workflow runs/month on Free.

Remove payment method (optional)

Scroll to the bottom of the Billing settings page and click the Stripe billing portal link to remove your saved payment card.

Archive account (optional full deletion)

To fully delete the organization, go to Settings > Account, scroll to the bottom, and click the 'Archive account' button. Export any data you need before doing this.
