What happens to my data after I downgrade to the free Hobby plan?

Your account and data remain accessible on the Hobby plan. However, the Hobby plan has shorter event/trace retention than Pro (Pro offers 7-day trace history). Some historical data may become inaccessible after downgrade.

Will I get a refund for unused time on my Pro plan?

Inngest does not publish a public refund policy. No prorated refunds for unused billing periods are documented. If you subscribed via Vercel Marketplace, refunds must be requested from Inngest directly at hello@inngest.com and are granted at vendor discretion.

Can I reactivate my Pro plan after downgrading?

Yes. You can upgrade back to Pro at any time from the Billing section of your organization settings. Your previous configuration and functions remain in your account.

How do I cancel if I subscribed through Vercel Marketplace?

Go to your Vercel Dashboard → Integrations, find Inngest, click 'Manage', and remove or uninstall the integration. Note that Vercel Marketplace subscriptions are described as non-cancelable and non-refundable per the integration addendum.

How do I fully delete my Inngest account?

Account deletion is separate from plan downgrade and has no documented self-serve flow. Contact Inngest support at hello@inngest.com or via the support portal at app.inngest.com/support to request full account deletion.

Is the Hobby plan actually free — are there any charges after downgrading?

Go to https://app.inngest.com and sign in to your account.

Open Organization Settings

Click on your organization name or avatar in the top navigation, then select 'Settings' or navigate to your organization via the organization list at app.inngest.com/organization-list.

Go to Billing

In the organization settings sidebar, click on 'Billing' or 'Plan' to view your current subscription details.

Downgrade to Hobby (Free) Plan

Click the 'Downgrade' or 'Change Plan' button and select the free Hobby plan. Inngest uses a downgrade-to-free model rather than full account cancellation — selecting Hobby effectively cancels your paid subscription.

Confirm the downgrade

Confirm the plan change in the dialog that appears. Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Contact support if needed

If you cannot find a self-serve downgrade option, submit a support ticket at https://app.inngest.com/support or email hello@inngest.com to request cancellation.
