What happens to my service after I cancel?

After cancellation, your paid plan remains active until the end of your current billing period (your anniversary date). Once it expires, your account automatically reverts to the free 'No Plan' tier, which still includes basic app access and live video.

Will I get a refund if I cancel mid-cycle?

No. Abode does not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months or years. You will retain access to your plan features until the end of the billing period you already paid for.

What happens to my automations and geofences?

Your saved automations and geofences will remain stored but will not be usable after cancellation, as they require a Standard or Pro plan to function.

Can I reactivate my plan after canceling?

Yes. You can resubscribe at any time through the Abode app via Menu > Profile > Plan Details. There are no penalties or waiting periods for reactivating.

Are there any cancellation fees?

No. Abode plans are completely contract-free with zero cancellation fees or penalties. You can cancel at any time directly from the app.

How do I delete my account entirely?

To fully delete your account (not just cancel the subscription), go to Menu > Profile in the app, or contact Abode support at support@goabode.com.

Open the Menu

Tap the Menu icon (≡) in the top-left corner of the app to open the navigation drawer.

Go to your Profile

Tap your name at the top of the menu to open your Profile page.

Open Plan Details

Tap 'Plan Details' to access your current subscription information and plan management options.

Cancel your plan

On the plans management page, select the option to cancel your subscription. Confirm the cancellation when prompted. Your plan will remain active until the end of your current billing period (anniversary date), after which your account will revert to the free 'No Plan' tier.
