Will I lose access immediately after canceling?

No — access continues until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account likely downgrades to the free tier (1,000 sessions/month, 1-month data retention) rather than being fully terminated.

Can I get a refund after canceling?

No. LogRocket's Terms of Service explicitly state that all amounts paid are non-refundable. The only exception is if LogRocket itself breaches the agreement. If you are within a 14-day free trial on the Team plan, you will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

What happens to my session recording data after I cancel?

LogRocket may delete all customer data after termination and has no obligation to maintain or provide it. There is no publicly documented grace period for data export. Export any important session data before canceling.

Can I reactivate my subscription after canceling?

Yes — you can upgrade again at any time via Settings > Plans. No reactivation fee or penalty is documented. Your account remains accessible at the free tier level after cancellation.

What if I have a Professional or Enterprise plan?

Professional and Enterprise plans are annual contracts negotiated through sales. Self-service cancellation may not be available — contact billing@logrocket.com or call (855) 564-7625 to initiate cancellation. You may still owe remaining payments for the current annual term.

Do I need to be an admin to cancel?

Yes. Only organization administrators can access the Plans page and manage billing. If you are not an admin, ask your organization owner to transfer admin rights or perform the cancellation on your behalf.

Log in to LogRocket

Go to https://app.logrocket.com and sign in with your account credentials. You must be an organization administrator to cancel — regular team members do not have access to billing settings.

Open account settings

Click your organization name or profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard to open the account menu.

Navigate to Plans

Select 'Settings' from the menu, then click the 'Plans' tab. The direct URL is https://app.logrocket.com/settings/plans.

Locate your current subscription

Scroll down on the Plans page to find your active subscription details and billing information.

Click 'Cancel Subscription'

Click the 'Cancel Subscription' button at the bottom of your plan details section.

Provide cancellation reason

You may be prompted to select a reason for cancelling. Fill in the feedback form and proceed.

Confirm cancellation

Click 'Yes, Cancel' on the confirmation prompt. A confirmation email will be sent from LogRocket Support to your account email address.
