Can I still watch Max after I cancel?

Yes. Your subscription stays active until the end of your current billing period. You have full access to all content until that date, even after cancelling.

Will I get a refund when I cancel?

Max does not offer prorated refunds for the unused portion of your billing period. You simply retain access until the period ends. Exception: if you have an Extra Member Add-On, a prorated refund applies when it is cancelled alongside the base plan.

Can I reactivate my Max subscription after cancelling?

Yes. Before your billing period ends, you can click 'Restart Subscription' on your Account page to reverse the cancellation. After expiry, you can resubscribe at any time through max.com.

Identify your billing source

Before cancelling, check who bills you. Go to max.com, sign in, click your profile icon (top right), and select 'Settings' → 'Subscription'. The billing provider is listed at the top of the Subscription page. If it shows a third party (Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku, Hulu), you must cancel through that platform — not through Max directly.

Go to your Subscription page

On the web, navigate to max.com and sign in. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner, then select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu. In Settings, click on 'Subscription'.

Click 'Cancel Your Subscription'

Scroll to the bottom of the Subscription page and click the 'Cancel Your Subscription' button. This button is only present if Max bills you directly — if billed via a third party, you will see the provider name instead.

Confirm cancellation

Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm. Max will display your subscription expiration date — the date through which you retain full access. Click 'Confirm Cancellation' to finalize.

Check for confirmation email

You will receive a confirmation email from Max. Your account remains active and fully accessible until the end of the current billing period. No further charges will be made after that date.
