Will I lose access immediately after cancelling?

No. When you cancel (select 'Don't Renew'), your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing cycle. You keep all subscriber benefits (emotes, badge, ad-free viewing for that channel) until the 'Sub End Date' shown on your subscription card.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

Twitch generally does not offer refunds for the current billing period. Cancellation only stops future charges. For billing disputes, you can contact Twitch Support, but refunds are not guaranteed.

How do I reactivate my subscription?

Simply visit the streamer's channel page and click the 'Subscribe' button again. You can also go to twitch.tv/subscriptions and re-subscribe from there at any time.

What if I subscribed through the iOS App Store or Google Play?

You must cancel through your device's subscription settings, not through Twitch. On iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → find Twitch → Cancel Subscription. On Android: Google Play Store → Profile icon → Subscriptions → find the channel → Cancel Subscription.

Does cancelling a free Prime Gaming subscription work the same way?

Prime Gaming channel subscriptions do not auto-renew — they must be manually resubscribed each month. You do not need to cancel them. To stop being charged for Amazon Prime itself, you must manage that separately through your Amazon account settings.

Can I cancel multiple channel subscriptions at once?

No. Twitch requires you to cancel each channel subscription individually. Go to twitch.tv/subscriptions and repeat the cancellation steps for each active subscription you want to stop.

Go to your Subscriptions page

Open a browser and navigate to twitch.tv/subscriptions. Make sure you are logged into your Twitch account.

Locate the subscription to cancel

Scroll through your list of active channel subscriptions to find the one you want to cancel. Each subscription card shows the channel name and next renewal date.

Click the cog (gear) icon

On the right side of the subscription card, click the gear/cog icon (⚙️). A small dropdown menu will appear.

Select 'Don't Renew Subscription'

From the dropdown menu, click 'Don't Renew Subscription'. This does not cancel immediately — it schedules the subscription to expire at the end of your current billing period.

Select a cancellation reason

Twitch will prompt you to select a reason for cancelling from a dropdown list (e.g. 'Too expensive', 'Not watching enough'). Select any reason to proceed.

Confirm cancellation

Click the 'Don't Renew Subscription' button again on the confirmation screen. You will then see a 'Sub End Date' displayed on the subscription card, confirming the cancellation.
