Can I cancel Teamtailor myself in the app?

No. There is no self-service cancel button. The Settings → Billing section only shows your subscription period and invoice history. Cancellation must be done by contacting your Account Manager or emailing AR@teamtailor.com.

Will I get a refund if I cancel before my contract ends?

No. Teamtailor's terms explicitly state that no refunds are issued for early termination. You will retain access until the end of the current paid period, but no partial refund is provided.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

Your account is locked immediately upon termination. You have a 30-day window to export all candidate and company data in CSV format or via the API at no extra cost. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted from Teamtailor's systems.

How much notice do I need to give to cancel?

At least 1 month before the end of your current contract period. Missing this window means the subscription automatically renews for another full annual term and you cannot cancel until the next renewal date.

Can I reactivate my Teamtailor account after cancelling?

Reactivation is not documented as a self-service option. You would need to contact Teamtailor's sales team and negotiate a new contract, as all data is deleted 30 days after termination.

What if I can't find my Account Manager to cancel?

Email AR@teamtailor.com (Accounts Receivable) directly. Include your customer number from any Teamtailor invoice, your reason for cancellation, and the URL of the career page to be terminated.

Review your contract end date

Log in to Teamtailor and navigate to Settings → Billing to find your current subscription period and renewal date. Notice must be given at least 1 month before the contract end date to avoid auto-renewal for another full annual term.

Locate your Account Manager

Find your assigned Teamtailor Account Manager's contact details in your original contract, welcome email, or by checking Settings → Billing. Every customer is assigned a dedicated account manager as the primary cancellation contact.

Send a written cancellation notice

Email your Account Manager stating your intention to terminate the contract. If you cannot find your Account Manager, email AR@teamtailor.com (Accounts Receivable). Written notice is required — phone calls alone are not sufficient.

Include required termination details

In your cancellation email include: reason for termination, your customer number (found on any Teamtailor invoice), and the URL of the career page/platform you want terminated.

Export your data before termination

Before the account is locked, export all candidate and company data via Settings → Export (CSV format) or via the API. This can also be done within the 30-day window after termination, but before data is permanently deleted.

Confirm cancellation in writing

Wait for a written confirmation from Teamtailor acknowledging the termination. Keep this email as proof that notice was received within the required 1-month window before contract end.
