Yes. Your account remains fully active until the end of your current monthly billing period. Access is not cut off immediately upon cancellation.

Log in to BambooHR

Go to your company's BambooHR subdomain (e.g., yourcompany.bamboohr.com) and sign in with your admin credentials. Only account administrators have access to subscription management.

Open Account Settings

Click on your profile/avatar icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard, then select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to the Account tab

Inside Settings, click on the 'Account' tab (distinct from user profile settings). This is where billing and subscription information is managed.

Click 'Manage Subscription'

On the Account tab, locate the 'Manage Subscription' button and click it. This opens the subscription management page where plan details and cancellation options are shown.

Initiate cancellation

Follow the on-screen prompts to cancel your month-to-month subscription. You may be asked to confirm the reason for cancellation before proceeding.

Export your data before access ends

Before your billing period ends, export all employee records and reports. Navigate to Reports to download any data you need to retain. Contact BambooHR support at 1-866-387-9595 (Mon–Fri, 6 AM–6 PM MT) if you need help exporting.

Confirm cancellation

Verify you receive a confirmation email. Your account remains active until the end of the current paid billing period — no partial-month access is provided after that date.
