Check your renewal date

Log in to the Totango app at app.totango.com. Navigate to Settings > Subscription in the left navigation panel. Note your contract renewal date — you must submit written notice at least 30 days before this date to avoid auto-renewal. This page is only visible to Global Admins or users with Subscription Permissions (configured under Settings > User Management > Permissions > Subscription Permissions).

Export your data

Before canceling, export any data you need. After cancellation takes effect, you have only a 45-day window to request a data download. After that window closes, Totango permanently deletes all customer data.

Prepare a written cancellation notice

Draft a written notice of non-renewal. Per Section 7.1 of Totango's Terms of Service, notice must be submitted in writing at least 30 days before the end of your current subscription term. Email qualifies as written notice and is deemed effective 1 day after sending.

Contact your Account Manager or submit a support request

Send your written cancellation notice to your designated account manager (their email is listed in your Order Form or on the Subscription page in the app). If you do not have a dedicated account manager, submit a cancellation request via the support portal at support.totango.com/hc/en-us/requests/new or email support@totango.com. Reference your account name and renewal date in your message.

Confirm cancellation in writing

Wait for written confirmation from Totango that your non-renewal notice has been received and logged. Keep this confirmation for your records. Your access continues until the end of the current contracted term.

Request data download before deadline

After your subscription ends, submit a data export request promptly. You have 45 days from the termination date to retrieve your Customer Data. Contact support@totango.com to initiate the export within this window.
