Can an individual employee cancel the Navan account?

No. Only a company administrator can initiate account closure. Individual users can cancel specific trip bookings within the app, but they cannot terminate the company account.

Will I get a refund if I cancel mid-billing cycle?

Navan does not publish a refund policy in its Terms of Use. Trip booking fees are explicitly non-refundable regardless of cancellation. Any refunds for the expense subscription portion ($15/user/month) would need to be negotiated directly with your account representative.

What happens to employee travel rewards when the account closes?

Employees lose accumulated Navan rewards if the corporate account closes and they no longer have access to their corporate email. This is a significant lock-in mechanism — advise employees to redeem rewards before account closure is finalized.

Can I export my travel and expense data before canceling?

Yes — while your account is still active, admins can export all reports in CSV, Excel, or Google Sheets format via the Reporting section of the admin dashboard. Do this before requesting account closure, as post-termination data access is not guaranteed.

Log in as Company Admin

Go to navan.com/signin and log in with your company admin credentials. Note: individual (non-admin) users cannot cancel the account — only a company administrator can initiate account closure.

Export your data

Before initiating cancellation, export all expense reports and travel data. Go to the Reporting section in your admin dashboard and use the export options (CSV, Excel, or Google Sheets) to download your records, as data access after account closure is not guaranteed.

Deactivate employee cards and users

In the admin panel, deactivate all corporate cards and remove or deactivate employee user accounts to prevent further charges before the account is formally closed.

Contact Navan via in-app chat

Use the in-app chat support (accessible after logging in — look for the chat widget in the bottom corner of the dashboard). Explicitly state you want to close and terminate your Navan account. Note down the support ticket number provided.
