Check your notice period

Before cancelling, check your cancellation deadline. Log in to your Kundencenter at telekom.de or open the 'Mein Magenta' app and navigate to 'Meine Verträge' (My Contracts) → contract details. Your cancellation deadline is also printed on the last page of your monthly bill. Standard 24-month MagentaMobil contracts require cancellation 3 months before the contract end date, or they auto-renew by 12 months.

Log in to your Telekom account

Go to https://www.telekom.de and click 'Mein Telekom' (top right) to log in to the Kundencenter with your Telekom email and password. Alternatively, open the 'Mein Magenta' app on your smartphone and log in with the same credentials.

Open your MagentaMobil contract

In the Kundencenter dashboard, locate the tile showing your MagentaMobil contract (e.g. 'MagentaMobil S', 'MagentaMobil M'). Click on this contract tile to open the contract details view.

Navigate to contract cancellation

Scroll down to the section labelled 'Meine Vertragsdaten' (My Contract Data). Look for the cancellation option here. Alternatively, navigate directly to the official cancellation form at https://www.telekom.de/kontakt/kuendigung (login required) and select 'Mobilfunk' as the contract type.

Select cancellation reason

In the cancellation form ('Kündigungsformular'), select your reason for cancellation from the dropdown (e.g. 'Zu teuer' / Too expensive, 'Wechsel zu anderem Anbieter' / Switching provider, 'Ins Ausland gezogen' / Moving abroad). Telekom may display a counter-offer or tariff downgrade at this step — click 'Trotzdem kündigen' (Cancel anyway) to proceed.

Enter your contract details

Fill in the required fields: your full name and address, your mobile phone number (Rufnummer) or customer number (Kundennummer, found on your bill), and the desired cancellation date (Kündigungsdatum). Choose either cancellation at the next possible date ('zum nächstmöglichen Termin') or a specific date.

Submit the cancellation

Review all entered details, then click the 'Jetzt kündigen' (Cancel now) button to submit the cancellation. You will receive an email and/or SMS confirmation from Telekom within a few minutes confirming receipt of the cancellation request.

Save your confirmation

Save or print the cancellation confirmation email from Telekom. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, follow up by calling the free hotline 0800 3302202 (24/7) or by sending a cancellation letter via registered mail (Einschreiben) to: Telekom Deutschland GmbH, Landgrabenweg 151, 53227 Bonn.
