Can I still use Mem after I cancel?

Yes. Your Mem Pro access remains active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account is downgraded to the Free tier, which allows up to 25 notes and 25 chat messages per month.

Will I get a refund after cancelling?

No. Per Mem's Terms of Service, all fees paid are non-refundable and no credits are issued for partially used billing periods. Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis at Mem's sole discretion.

What happens to my notes and data after cancellation?

Your data is not deleted when you cancel — you are simply downgraded to the Free tier. All your notes remain accessible (subject to Free tier limits). Data is only permanently deleted if you explicitly delete your account via Account Settings.

Log in to Mem

Go to mem.ai and sign in to your account.

Open Settings

Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of the app, then select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu.

Go to Subscription Management

In Settings, find the 'Mem X' or 'Subscription' section and click 'Subscription Management'. You can also navigate directly to mem.ai/settings/subscription-management.

Open the billing portal

Click the 'Manage your Subscription' button. This opens a Stripe-hosted customer billing portal in a new tab.

Cancel your subscription

In the Stripe portal, click 'Cancel subscription'. Select when to end the subscription — typically at the end of the current billing period.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm the cancellation in the Stripe portal. You will receive a confirmation email. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which the account is downgraded to the Free tier.
