Once the Okendo app is uninstalled, review widgets stop functioning on your storefront. Okendo does not publicly document a data retention or grace period policy, so you should export all reviews data from within the app before uninstalling.

Can I get a refund if I cancel an annual plan early?

Okendo does not publicly document a refund or early termination policy for annual plans. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time. For annual or bundle plans, contact support@okendo.io to discuss your options.

Is there a free plan I can downgrade to instead of cancelling?

Yes. Okendo offers a Free plan that supports up to 50 orders per month at no cost, covering core reviews features. This is a viable alternative to full cancellation for low-volume stores.

Will Okendo leave anything behind in my Shopify store after I uninstall?

Yes — user reports confirm Okendo can leave behind Shopify metafields and theme code after removal. You may need to manually clean up leftover metafields or contact Okendo support at support@okendo.io to have them removed.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. You can reinstall the Okendo app from the Shopify App Store at any time and select a plan to reactivate. Previously generated reviews data may or may not be restored — contact support before reactivating if data recovery is important.

What if I am still being charged after uninstalling the app?

This has been reported by multiple merchants. First check Shopify admin > Settings > Billing > App subscriptions to confirm the charge is still active. Then contact Okendo support at support@okendo.io with your cancellation date and Shopify store URL to request a refund and charge removal.

Open Okendo in Shopify admin

Go to Settings > Billing

Inside the Okendo app, navigate to Settings and then select Billing to manage your subscription plan.

Downgrade to Free plan

Select the Free plan (0–50 orders/month at no cost) to stop paid charges. This downgrades your subscription rather than fully cancelling it. Confirm any prompts to change your plan.

Uninstall Okendo from Shopify

In your Shopify admin go to Settings > Apps, find Okendo in your installed apps list, click Delete (or Uninstall), and confirm the removal. This terminates the Shopify-managed recurring charge.

Verify billing has stopped

In Shopify admin go to Settings > Billing > App subscriptions and confirm there is no active recurring charge listed for Okendo.

Export your data before leaving

Before completing the cancellation, export your reviews and any other data from within the Okendo app. After uninstalling, data access is not guaranteed.

Contact support if charges continue

If you are still billed after uninstalling, contact support@okendo.io directly and reference your cancellation date. Multiple users have reported continued charges after removing the app — manual support escalation may be required.
