Can I still use Sketch after cancelling?

Yes. You retain full access to Sketch until the end of your current billing period. After that, your Workspace enters read-only mode — you can view and download documents but cannot edit, save new files, or add members.

When will my data be permanently deleted?

Sketch permanently deletes your Workspace and all documents 90 days after your subscription ends. You receive a reminder email at day 60, a final 30-day warning at day 90, and deletion occurs at day 120 if you have not reactivated.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes, you can reactivate within 90 days of your cancellation or expiration date, as long as you have not manually deleted your Workspace. After 90 days, the Workspace is scheduled for permanent deletion.

Are refunds available after cancellation?

Sketch does not publicly advertise a refund policy for standard cancellations. You keep access until the end of the paid billing period. For refund requests, you would need to contact Sketch support directly.

What if I was billed through the Apple App Store?

If your subscription was purchased via the Mac App Store, you must cancel through Apple — go to System Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, find Sketch, and cancel there. The in-app Billing section will not show a Cancel option for App Store subscribers.

What happens to my team members when I cancel?

All team members lose access to the Workspace when the billing period ends. They can still view documents in read-only mode during the 90-day grace period before deletion.

Go to Sketch web app and sign in

Open sketch.com in your browser and sign in with your Admin account credentials. Note: only the Workspace Admin can cancel a subscription — individual members cannot cancel on their own.

Switch to the correct Workspace

Click the Switch Workspace icon in the top-left corner of the sidebar to select the Workspace whose subscription you want to cancel.

Open Settings

Click the Settings icon (gear icon) at the top of the left sidebar to open Workspace settings.

Navigate to Billing

In the Settings panel, click on Billing to open the billing and subscription section.

Click Cancel Subscription

Locate your active subscription and click the Cancel Subscription button. If you don't see this option, you may be billed through Apple (App Store) — in that case, cancel via your Apple ID subscription settings instead.

Confirm cancellation

A confirmation dialog will appear showing the exact date your access ends (end of the current billing period). Click Confirm to finalize the cancellation. You will receive a confirmation email.
