Can I keep using Ranorex after I cancel?

Yes, you retain full access to Ranorex until the end of your current paid term. Canceling only stops the automatic renewal — your license stays active through the expiration date you already paid for.

Are there refunds if I cancel mid-subscription?

Ranorex does not offer pro-rated refunds for unused time on annual subscriptions. Refunds are generally not available once a term has started, though you should contact sales@ranorex.com to inquire about exceptional circumstances.

How far in advance do I need to cancel before renewal?

Annual subscriptions require notice at least 30 days before the renewal date. Month-to-month subscriptions require at least 5 days' notice before the next billing date. Missing this window will result in being charged for another full term.

Can I reactivate my subscription after canceling?

Yes. If you let your subscription lapse, you can repurchase a new subscription through the Ranorex store or by contacting sales@ranorex.com. Your existing projects and test files are not deleted and will be accessible once you renew.

What happens to my test projects and data when my subscription expires?

Your local project files, test scripts, and recordings remain on your machine — Ranorex does not delete them. However, you will be unable to open, run, or edit them with Ranorex Studio until a valid license is reactivated.

Log in to Ranorex Customer Account

Go to https://www.ranorex.com/store/us/customer/account/login/ and sign in with the email address and password associated with your Ranorex purchase.

Navigate to Account Profile / Subscription Settings

Once logged in, click your account name or profile icon in the top-right corner and select 'My Account' or 'Subscription Management' from the dropdown menu.

Locate Your Active Subscription

In the account dashboard, find the 'My Subscriptions' or 'Licenses' section. Identify the active subscription you wish to cancel and click on it to view its details.

Deactivate Auto-Renewal

Within the subscription detail page, locate the 'Auto-Renewal' toggle or setting and switch it to Off / Disabled. Per Ranorex's terms, this must be done at least 30 days before the annual renewal date (or 5 days before for month-to-month plans).

Confirm the Cancellation of Renewal

A confirmation dialog will appear asking you to confirm that you want to disable auto-renewal. Click 'Confirm' or 'Yes, disable auto-renewal'. You should receive a confirmation email at your registered address.

Contact Sales if Self-Service Is Unavailable

If the auto-renewal toggle is not visible in your portal (common for enterprise/quote-based licenses), email sales@ranorex.com or submit a support ticket at https://support.ranorex.com/hc/en-us/requests/new stating your intent not to renew. Reference your license/order number and request written confirmation.
