Is InVision still active?

No. InVision permanently shut down all design collaboration services on December 31, 2024. All user data — including prototypes, Freehands, boards, specs, and DSM libraries — was permanently deleted. The service is no longer accessible.

Will I get a refund if I cancel early?

No. InVision's policy was that subscriptions are non-refundable. No prorated refunds were issued for early cancellation of monthly or annual plans. Users retained access until the end of their paid period.

What happens to my data when I cancel?

Canceling the subscription (before shutdown) did not delete your account or data — it downgraded you to the Free plan, making documents above the free limit inaccessible but not deleted. However, as of December 31, 2024, all user data was permanently deleted when InVision shut down.

Can I reactivate my InVision account?

No. Since InVision permanently shut down on December 31, 2024, reactivation is not possible. The platform no longer exists. Consider alternatives like Figma, Adobe XD, or Miro (which acquired InVision's Freehand product).

What happened to InVision Freehand?

Freehand was acquired by Miro in late 2023 and continues to operate as part of the Miro platform. It was not shut down along with the rest of InVision.

How do I delete my InVision account vs. just canceling?

Before shutdown, canceling only stopped billing and reduced plan access. Account deletion was permanent and irreversible — V6 users could self-delete via Settings > Delete Account, while V7 users had to email support@invisionapp.com. Since the shutdown, all accounts and data have already been permanently removed.

InVision permanently shut down all services on December 31, 2024. All user data was deleted and accounts are no longer accessible. No active subscriptions exist. If you were billed after this date, contact your bank to dispute the charge.

Sign in to your InVision account

Go to app.invisionapp.com and sign in with your credentials. Note: the platform is now offline, so this step only applies to users who had active subscriptions before December 31, 2024.

Open your Profile menu

Click your name or avatar in the top-right corner of the screen, then select 'View Profile' from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to Billing settings

Click 'Billing' in the navigation bar displayed beneath your name on your profile page.

Click 'Cancel Plan'

Scroll to find the 'Cancel Plan' button in the Billing section and click it. Then select 'Cancel your InVision subscription' (not a downgrade option) and click 'Continue'.

Confirm cancellation

Click 'Continue' again. If you are on a Team plan, check the box labeled 'I'm aware that my team will be deleted at the end of the billing cycle'. Select a cancellation reason from the dropdown.

Click 'Downgrade Your Plan' to finalize

Click the 'Downgrade Your Plan' button to confirm. Despite the label saying 'Downgrade', this completes the full cancellation. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period, then drop to the free tier.
