Log in to AWeber

Go to app.aweber.com and log in with your email and password.

Open My Account

Click your user profile icon in the bottom-left corner of the control panel, then select 'My Account' from the dropdown menu.

Go to Billing

In the left-hand side menu of the My Account page, click 'Billing'.

Click 'Close My Account'

Locate the 'Current Plan' section on the Billing page and click the 'Close My Account' button. A pop-up window will appear.

Select a cancellation reason

In the cancellation pop-up, select your reason for leaving from the provided list and optionally indicate if you are switching to another email marketing service.

Decline retention offer

AWeber may present a retention offer (e.g., a discounted plan or Hold package) to keep your account open. Click 'No thanks' or 'Continue with cancellation' to proceed.

Complete security verification

Verify your identity by confirming your login email address and providing a recent invoice number or answering security questions associated with your account.

Confirm cancellation

Submit the cancellation request. You will receive a confirmation email within a few minutes. AWeber will also email you a download link for a backup of your subscribers and messages, valid for 2 weeks.
