Can I still use my mobile service after I request cancellation?

Yes. Your mobile service stays active until the effective termination date you agreed on. You will be billed for all usage up to that date.

Are there early termination fees?

If you cancel before the minimum contract period ends (typically 24 months), you must repay discounts received (e.g., a subsidised handset) and compensate Telia for direct losses for the remaining period. If your fixed-term contract has already expired and you are on a rolling month-to-month basis, no early termination fee applies.

How much notice do I need to give before cancellation takes effect?

Telia's mobile service rules require written notice at least 5 business days before the desired termination date. In practice, month-to-month customers should expect roughly one billing cycle (one month) before the account is fully closed.

Can I cancel penalty-free if Telia raises prices or changes my contract?

Yes. Under Lithuanian law and Telia's own rules, if Telia makes substantial changes to your contract conditions (including price increases), you may terminate without penalty by notifying Telia in writing at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

Can I reactivate a Telia subscription after cancelling?

Log in to Mano Telia self-service portal

Go to telia.lt/mano and log in using Smart-ID, Mobile-ID, or your username and password. This is Telia's primary self-service portal for managing your subscription.

Navigate to 'Mano sutartys' (My Contracts)

After logging in, open the 'Mano sutartys' (My Contracts) or 'Paslaugos' (Services) section to view your active mobile subscription and its details.

Select your active mobile plan

Find your active mobile plan (e.g., a 'Mobilus' plan) and click on it to open the subscription details and available actions.

Submit a termination request

Look for the 'Nutraukti sutartį' (Terminate contract) or 'Atsisakyti paslaugos' (Cancel service) option and submit a written termination request specifying your desired end date. Per Telia's service rules, written notice must be given at least 5 business days before the desired termination date.

Decline retention offers

Confirm the effective termination date with the agent or via the portal. Request a confirmation number or email. Your service remains active and billable until the agreed termination date.
