Will I get a refund if I cancel before my billing period ends?

No. PropelAuth's Terms of Service (Section 6.2) state that customers are not entitled to a refund for early voluntary cancellation. You will be billed in full through the last day the service is provided.

What happens to my app after I cancel a paid plan?

Your account reverts to PropelAuth's Free plan, which includes up to 10,000 monthly active users (MAUs). Features exclusive to paid plans (such as SAML/SSO, staging environments, API keys, and SCIM) will no longer be available.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. You can re-subscribe to a paid plan at any time through the billing section of your PropelAuth dashboard at https://auth.propelauth.com.

What happens to my user data when I cancel?

Your project data and user records remain accessible under the Free plan. For full data deletion, you would need to delete your project or contact PropelAuth support at support@propelauth.com.

I can't find the cancellation option in my dashboard. What should I do?

Contact PropelAuth support at support@propelauth.com. They can assist with cancellation directly. The cancellation UI is inside the authenticated dashboard and not publicly documented.

Does PropelAuth have a pause or freeze option instead of full cancellation?

There is no publicly documented pause or freeze option. The alternative to cancelling a paid plan is downgrading to the Free tier, which has no monthly cost and includes 10,000 MAUs.

Log in to PropelAuth dashboard

Go to https://auth.propelauth.com and sign in with your account credentials.

Open Account or Billing settings

Look for your account profile menu — typically in the top-right corner or left sidebar. Navigate to a 'Billing' or 'Subscription' section within your account settings.

Locate your current plan

Find your active paid plan (Growth at $150/month, Growth Plus at $500/month, or Enterprise). There will be an option to manage or disable the subscription.

Disable/cancel the subscription

Click the option to cancel or disable your subscription. Per PropelAuth's Terms of Service (Section 6.1), cancellation is done by 'disabling the subscription via the account profile.' Make sure to do this before your renewal date.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm the cancellation when prompted. Your account will revert to the Free plan (10,000 MAUs included) at the end of the billing period. If you cannot find the cancel option, email support@propelauth.com for assistance.
