Will I lose access to my apps immediately after downgrading?

No. When you initiate a downgrade, you remain on your current paid plan until the end of your billing period. A banner in the dashboard shows the exact date the downgrade takes effect. Your apps continue to function at the current plan's limits until then.

Can I get a refund for the remaining days of my billing period?

No. Pusher's service is not pro-rated. Once you initiate a downgrade, there is no refund for the period between the downgrade request and the end of your billing cycle.

Can I reactivate or upgrade my plan after downgrading?

Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time from the Channels Billing or Beams Billing page in the dashboard by clicking the 'Upgrade' button next to the desired plan. The upgrade takes effect immediately.

What happens to my data if I delete my account?

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Pusher's documentation warns explicitly that this action is irreversible. All associated apps, keys, and data are removed. Export any data you need before proceeding.

What are the limits if I downgrade to the Free plan?

The Pusher Channels Free plan includes 100 max connections and 200,000 messages per day. If your apps exceed these limits after the downgrade takes effect, they will be throttled or blocked until usage drops within limits.

Who do I contact if I have billing issues or cannot cancel through the dashboard?

Log in to Pusher Dashboard

Go to https://dashboard.pusher.com and sign in with your email and password.

Open Account menu

Click on the 'Account' menu located in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

Go to Channels Billing (or Beams Billing)

From the dropdown, select 'Channels Billing' if you have a Channels subscription, or 'Beams Billing' if you have a Beams (push notifications) subscription. This opens the plan management page.

Click the Downgrade button

On the billing page, locate the Free plan (or any lower-tier plan you want to move to) and click the 'Downgrade' button next to it. For Beams, select the plan you wish to downgrade to from the plan list.

Confirm the downgrade

Confirm your selection when prompted. A banner will appear in the dashboard showing the date your downgrade will take effect (at the end of your current billing period). Your plan continues until then.

(Optional) Delete your account entirely

If you want to fully close your Pusher account (not just downgrade), go to Account menu → 'Account', scroll to the very bottom of the page, and click the 'Delete account' button. You will be asked to enter your password to confirm. Warning: this is permanent and cannot be undone.
