Can I get a refund after canceling?

No. Hive's Terms of Service state that all subscription fees are non-cancellable and non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods or plan downgrades.

What happens to my data after the subscription ends?

Your workspace data is preserved even after cancellation. If you resubscribe later, all your data will still be there. Permanent data deletion requires a separate account deletion action.

Can I reactivate my subscription after canceling?

Yes. You can log back in at any time and renew your plan. Charges will apply from your next billing cycle.

How do I cancel an annual Hive subscription?

Annual plans cannot be canceled through the self-serve billing portal. You must contact Hive's finance team at finance@hive.com or reach out via the in-app support chat (blue question mark icon) to request cancellation before your renewal date.

What if I'm not the Billing Admin of the workspace?

Only the workspace Billing Admin can cancel the subscription. If 'Billing' is not visible in your profile menu, contact your admin or email help@hive.com to request they handle the cancellation.

Log in to Hive

Go to hive.com and log in to your workspace with your account credentials.

Open your Profile menu

Click your profile image in the top-right corner of the app to open the dropdown menu.

Navigate to Billing

Select 'Billing' from the dropdown menu. If you do not see this option, you are not the Billing Admin — contact your workspace admin or email help@hive.com.

Open the Billing Portal

Click 'Update, cancel, or view your subscription' to be redirected to the external Billing Portal (powered by Stripe).

Click 'Cancel Plan'

In the Billing Portal, click the 'Cancel Plan' button. For monthly subscribers this is self-serve. For annual subscribers, this option is not available — you must contact finance@hive.com or use the in-app chat (blue question mark icon) to request cancellation.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm your choice in the prompt that appears. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then.
