Log in to FreeAgent
Go to app.freeagent.com and log in with your credentials. You must have full admin (level 8) access to cancel — if an accountant manages your account at a lower access level, you will need the account owner's credentials.
Open the drop-down menu
Click the drop-down menu in the top-right corner of the screen (usually showing your name or company name).
Select 'Billing'
From the drop-down menu, click 'Billing' to open your subscription and billing details page.
Scroll to the bottom of the Billing page
Scroll all the way to the bottom of the Billing page to find the cancellation option.
Click 'Cancel My Subscription'
Click the 'Cancel My Subscription' button at the bottom of the Billing page. A confirmation warning will appear advising that cancellation takes immediate effect and you will lose access instantly.
Select a cancellation reason
Choose a reason from the 'Reason' drop-down menu. You may optionally add more detail in the 'Details' text box.
Confirm cancellation
Click the 'Cancel My Subscription' confirmation button. Your account is cancelled immediately — you will be logged out and lose access to your data right away. Export all data and attachments before this step.
