Go to Canva and sign in
Affinity V3 (current version) is free software powered by Canva — the paid subscription is Canva Pro, which unlocks AI tools within Affinity. Navigate to canva.com and sign in with the same account you use for Affinity.
Open Account Settings
Click your profile picture or initials in the top-right corner of the Canva dashboard, then select 'Account settings' from the dropdown menu.
Go to Billing & Teams
In the left-hand sidebar of Account Settings, click 'Billing & teams'. Your active Canva Pro subscription will be listed under the Subscriptions section.
Initiate cancellation
Click the three-dot menu (•••) next to your Canva Pro plan. Select 'Cancel plan' from the options. Some UI versions show a 'Cancel subscription' button directly.
Click 'Continue cancellation'
Canva will present reasons to stay (e.g., switch to annual billing, downgrade to free). Click 'Continue cancellation' to proceed past the retention screen.
Select a cancellation reason
Choose a reason from the dropdown (optional, but required to proceed). Common options include 'Too expensive', 'Not using it enough', or 'Missing features'.
Confirm cancellation
Click 'Continue cancellation' a second time to finalize. You will receive a confirmation email. Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period.
