Can I still use Miro after cancelling?

Yes. You retain full access to all paid features until the end of your current billing period. Once that date passes, your boards become view-only for all team members, but they are not deleted.

Will I get a refund after cancelling?

Miro does not offer refunds for unused time on a subscription. You will simply keep access until the period you paid for expires. If you believe there was a billing error, contact Miro Support to request a case-by-case review.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. You can reactivate at any time from the same Billing section in the Admin console. Your boards and data are preserved in view-only mode, so everything will be accessible again once you resubscribe.

What happens to my boards and data?

Boards are never deleted. After the billing period ends they switch to view-only mode — team members can still view content but cannot edit. Upgrading again restores full edit access immediately.

Who can cancel a Miro subscription?

Only a Team Admin, Billing Admin, or Company Admin can cancel. Regular team members do not have access to the Billing section in the Admin console.

What if I bought Miro through the App Store or Google Play?

If your subscription was purchased via the Apple App Store or Google Play, you must cancel directly through those platforms — Miro's Admin console will not show a cancellation option for those subscriptions.

Open your team's Admin Console

From your Miro dashboard, make sure you are signed in to the team whose subscription you want to cancel. Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner of the screen, then select 'Admin console' (or 'Settings' on some plans) from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to Billing

In the Admin console, click 'Billing' in the left sidebar. This opens the billing overview showing your current plan, renewal date, and billing actions.

Click 'Cancel subscription'

Scroll down to the 'Billing actions' section on the Billing page and click the 'Cancel subscription' button.

Confirm cancellation in the dialog

A confirmation dialog appears explaining what will happen after cancellation (access continues until billing period end, boards go view-only). Click 'Continue to cancel' (or 'Confirm cancellation') to complete the process.

Check confirmation email

Miro sends a cancellation confirmation email to the account's billing email address. Keep this as proof of cancellation and note the date your paid access ends.
