What happens to my SoFi accounts if I cancel SoFi Plus?

Cancelling SoFi Plus only removes the paid membership benefits (such as the higher APY bonus and career coaching). Your SoFi bank accounts, investments, and loan products remain fully active and unaffected.

Will I lose the higher APY on my SoFi Savings account?

Yes — SoFi Plus members receive a bonus APY on their Savings account. After cancellation, your APY will revert to the standard (lower) rate for non-members, but your savings balance and direct deposit remain intact.

Can I reactivate SoFi Plus later?

Visit sofi.com and log in to your account, or open the SoFi app on your smartphone.

Navigate to Account Settings

Click on your name or profile icon in the top-right corner and select 'Settings' or 'Account'.

Find SoFi Plus Membership

Look for the 'SoFi Plus' or 'Membership' section within your account settings. This is where your paid subscription is managed.

Cancel SoFi Plus

Confirm your decision
