How many boards can I have on Trello's free plan?

The Trello free plan now allows unlimited cards and 10 boards per workspace. You also get unlimited Power-Up slots (one per board on Standard, unlimited on Premium). The main limitations are board backgrounds and advanced features.

What Trello features are only available on paid plans?

Paid plans unlock unlimited boards, Timeline view, Dashboard view, Table view, custom fields, unlimited Power-Ups, advanced checklists, and workspace-level admin controls.

Can I use Trello after cancelling without losing my boards?

Yes. Cancelling downgrades your workspace to the free plan. All your existing boards, cards, and data remain intact. You will be limited to 10 boards going forward, and boards over the limit become read-only.

Log in to Trello

Go to trello.com and sign in with your Atlassian account.

Open Workspace Settings

Click your workspace name in the left sidebar, then click 'Settings' to open workspace settings.

Go to Billing

Click 'Billing' in the workspace settings to see your current plan and renewal information.

Cancel Plan

Click 'Cancel Standard/Premium plan' or 'Downgrade to Free'. Trello will show you which Power-Ups and features will be disabled.

Confirm Downgrade

Click 'Confirm' to complete the downgrade. Your workspace returns to the free plan at the end of the billing period, with unlimited cards and 10 boards.

Before you downgrade, keep in mind that Timeline view and Dashboard view will no longer be available on the free plan. These are often the most valuable features for tracking team progress. If cost is the concern, our Standard plan is just $5/user/month. Would a smaller workspace size reduce costs enough to keep Premium?
