Does Soundtoys have a recurring subscription I need to cancel?

No. Soundtoys sells perpetual licenses — one-time purchases. There is no ongoing subscription fee for their software. If you are seeing recurring charges, contact your payment provider or Soundtoys support at support@soundtoys.com.

Can I get a refund on a Soundtoys purchase?

Soundtoys does not publish a public refund policy. For refund requests, contact support@soundtoys.com directly. Support is available Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm EST.

Will I lose access to my plugins if I unsubscribe from emails?

No. Unsubscribing from marketing emails has no effect on your software licenses. Your perpetual licenses remain valid and tied to your iLok account.

How do I delete my Soundtoys account entirely?

Email support@soundtoys.com and request full account and data deletion. Note that deleting your account will not affect iLok licenses, which are managed separately via iLok.com.

Can I reactivate my email subscription after unsubscribing?

Yes. You can re-subscribe to Soundtoys emails at any time by signing in to accounts.soundtoys.com and updating your contact preferences, or by signing up via any newsletter form on soundtoys.com.

How do I deactivate or transfer my Soundtoys license?

Soundtoys licenses are managed via iLok License Manager. Open the iLok License Manager app, locate your Soundtoys license, right-click it, and select 'Deactivate' to free it from a machine. License transfers can be requested through Soundtoys support.

Open a Soundtoys marketing email

Find any promotional or newsletter email sent by Soundtoys in your inbox. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link in the footer.

Click 'Unsubscribe' in the email footer

Scroll to the bottom of the email and click the 'Unsubscribe' or 'Manage Preferences' link. This is the fastest method.

Sign in to your Soundtoys account (alternative method)

Go to accounts.soundtoys.com and sign in with your email and password to manage contact preferences manually.

Update contact preferences in Profile

In your account dashboard, navigate to the Profile section and update your email/contact preferences to opt out of marketing communications.

Request account or data deletion (optional)

If you want Soundtoys to delete all your personal data, email support@soundtoys.com requesting account and data deletion. Support is available Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm EST.
