No. Akaunting's Terms of Service state that all sales are final and no refunds are provided. This applies to both monthly and annual plans, and is strictly enforced even in cases of accidental auto-renewal.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes — you can resubscribe to any plan at any time from the Subscriptions page. However, if your billing period has already expired and you did not export your data, that data may be permanently lost and cannot be restored.

What happens to my installed apps when I cancel?

Any apps included in your plan that you haven't purchased separately will be uninstalled when your subscription ends. To keep using specific apps, you would need to purchase them individually from the Akaunting marketplace.

How do I remove my payment method after cancelling?

After cancelling, go back to the Subscriptions page, click "My Cards", then click the trash icon next to your saved card. Enter a reason and confirm deletion to prevent any future charges.

Does Akaunting send a reminder before auto-renewing?

Log in to Akaunting

Go to akaunting.com and log in to your account using your email and password.

Open profile menu

Click your profile initials or icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

Go to Subscriptions

Select "Subscriptions" from the dropdown menu to open your subscriptions list.

Open plan details

Find your active plan and click the "Details" button next to it.

Click Cancel Subscription

Scroll down the Details page and click the "Cancel Subscription" button.

Select a cancellation reason

A popup dialog appears requiring you to select or enter a cancellation reason from the dropdown — this field is required before you can proceed.

Confirm cancellation

Click "Confirm" to complete the cancellation. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Export your data immediately

Before your billing period ends, export all your business data. Go to your company settings and use the export/backup option — once access expires, all data is permanently lost with no recovery option.
