Can I still access my website after cancelling?

If you chose 'At end of billing cycle', your hosting remains active until that date. If you chose 'Immediate', the service is deleted during the next scheduled deletion run the same day.

Will I get a refund if I cancel mid-cycle?

No general refund policy is offered. Only the 14-day statutory cooling-off (EU consumer right) applies for brand-new purchases. Contact support at info@mhosting.hu for individual refund inquiries.

What happens to my website files and data?

All data is permanently deleted on the cancellation date — files, databases, email accounts, and domain DNS settings. Back up all your data before cancelling.

Can I reactivate my hosting after cancelling?

Restoration may be possible only if mHosting holds a backup, and only for an additional fee. Contact support promptly after cancellation if you need recovery.

Does cancelling hosting also cancel my domain?

No. Domain registration is a separate service. Cancelling your hosting plan does not cancel or transfer your domain — both services are managed independently.

Do I need to call or email to cancel, or can I do it online?

Cancellation is fully self-service through the client portal at online.mhosting.hu. No phone call or email is required.

Log in to the client portal

Go to https://online.mhosting.hu and log in with your mHosting account credentials (email and password).

Open 'Szolgáltatásaim' (My Services)

In the top navigation bar, click 'Szolgáltatások' (Services), then select 'Szolgáltatásaim' (My Services) from the dropdown menu.

Find your hosting subscription

A list of all your active services will appear. Locate the Premium hosting subscription you want to cancel.

Open service details

Click the 'Aktív' (Active) status button next to your hosting plan to open the service detail view.

Click 'Lemondás kérése' (Request Cancellation)

Inside the service overview page, click the 'Lemondás kérése' (Request Cancellation) option.

Choose cancellation timing

Select when you want the service to be cancelled: 'Azonnali' (Immediate) — service is deleted the same day, or 'Számlázási ciklus végén' (At end of billing cycle) — service is deleted on the next renewal date shown in the service summary.

Confirm the cancellation request

Confirm your cancellation request. You will receive a confirmation notification. All files, databases, and email accounts associated with the hosting will be permanently deleted on the chosen date.
