Can I cancel Domo mid-contract?

No. Per Domo's Service Terms, signed Service Orders are explicitly non-cancellable and fees are non-refundable. You can only opt out of renewal at the end of your current contract term, subject to the notice period in your agreement.

Will I get a refund if I cancel?

No. Domo's fees are non-refundable and based on services purchased, not actual usage. The only exception is a material warranty breach by Domo that cannot be remedied, in which case a refund of prepaid unused fees may be available.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

You should export all data before your contract ends using Domo's built-in export tools. For free/trial accounts, Domo provides up to 30 days after termination to export your data. Enterprise customers should negotiate an offboarding window with their Account Executive.

The required notice period is specified in your Service Order and typically ranges from 30 to 90 days before the renewal date. Check your contract carefully — missing this window may result in automatic renewal for another full annual term.

Can I cancel a Domo free trial without being charged?

Yes. Free trial accounts with a credit card on file can be cancelled before the trial ends via Account Settings > Subscriptions > Cancel Subscription. If cancelled in time, you will not be charged.

Can I reactivate my Domo account after cancellation?

Yes, you can reactivate by contacting Domo sales or your previous Account Executive. However, reactivation will require signing a new Service Order, and your previous data may not be recoverable if it was deleted after termination.

Review your contract and notice period

Locate your signed Service Order (contract) and check the renewal date and required notice period (typically 30–90 days before renewal). Domo contracts are annual or multi-year and are explicitly non-cancellable mid-term — you can only opt out of renewal, not exit early.

Contact your Account Executive or Customer Success Manager

Reach out directly to your named Domo Account Executive (AE) or Customer Success Manager (CSM) via email or phone to inform them of your intent not to renew. This must be done before the notice deadline in your contract.

If no named contact, contact Domo Support

Call Domo at (800) 899-1000 (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm MT), email info@domo.com, or submit a request at support.domo.com. State clearly that you do not wish to renew your subscription.

Export your data before access ends

While your account is still active, export all DataSets using Domo's built-in export tools (CSV/Excel). Negotiate a data offboarding window with your AE if needed. Free accounts get up to 30 days post-termination to export data.

Log in at domo.com, go to Account Settings, select 'Subscriptions' from the menu, find your subscription, and click 'Cancel Subscription'. Confirm the cancellation — a confirmation email will be sent.

Request a written confirmation of non-renewal from your AE or from support@domo.com. Keep this for your records to avoid being auto-billed for another term.
