Check your contract status

Log in to 'My A1' (Моят А1) at a1.bg or via the My A1 mobile app. Navigate to 'Договори' (Contracts) to find your contract end date and review any applicable early termination fees before proceeding.

Locate an A1 store

Use the store locator at https://www.a1.bg/offices to find the nearest A1 office. Cancellation requires an in-person visit — it cannot be completed fully online or by phone.

Visit A1 office with required documents

Go to the A1 office in person. Bring your national ID card (лична карта) and your account/contract number. If you are an authorized representative (пълномощник), bring a notarized power of attorney (нотариално заверено пълномощно).

Request termination form

Tell the A1 staff member you want to submit a 'заявление за прекратяване на договор' (contract termination request). They will provide an A1 template form. You may also bring your own written termination notice. Submit at least 30 calendar days before your contract expiry to avoid early termination penalties.

Complete and sign the termination form

Fill in your personal details, account number, and desired termination date. Sign the form. The staff will review your contract and inform you of any applicable fees (up to 3 monthly subscription fees for early termination, plus partial recovery of device subsidies if a phone was included in the plan).

Return rented equipment (if applicable)

If your plan included a rented device (modem, router, set-top box/приемник), return it at the store at the time of notice submission or within 30 days. Keep the return receipt (разписка за предаване). Failure to return equipment incurs additional penalties per device.

Receive written confirmation

Request and keep a stamped copy of your submitted termination notice as proof. Your service will remain active until the termination date (30 days after notice, or your contract end date). Any outstanding early termination fee is billed 30 days after notice submission.
