Can I cancel my eufy Cloud subscription directly in the app?

Not for direct eufy subscribers. Eufy's own support documentation states that in-app or web portal self-service cancellation is not available — you must contact eufy support via email or phone. If you subscribed through Apple App Store or Google Play, you can cancel directly through those platforms' subscription management.

Will I get a refund if I cancel my subscription?

Monthly plan subscribers receive no refund — the auto-renewal simply stops at the end of the current billing period. Annual plan subscribers can receive a partial refund: the monthly rate is deducted for each month used, and the remaining balance is refunded. EU customers may be eligible for a full refund within the 14-day cooling-off period if the service was unused.

What happens to my cloud recordings after I cancel?

Cloud recordings will become inaccessible once your subscription period ends. Eufy's policy states they reserve the right to delete your data upon termination without notice. Download any important clips before cancelling via the eufy Security app's Event tab. Local storage (HomeBase, SD card, NAS) is completely unaffected.

Will my camera stop working if I cancel the cloud subscription?

No. EufyCam cameras continue to record locally to HomeBase, SD card, or NAS without any subscription. Cloud backup is an optional add-on — cancelling only removes cloud storage while all local recording features remain fully functional.

Can I reactivate my cloud subscription later?

Yes. You can resubscribe at any time through the eufy Security app or the eufy website. However, any previously stored cloud recordings from before cancellation will not be restored.

Determine how you subscribed

Check whether you subscribed directly through eufy, or via Apple App Store, Google Play, or PayPal — this determines your cancellation method. Open the eufy Security app, tap the hamburger menu (3 lines), then 'Cloud Record' → 'My Cloud' to view your subscription details.

Find your camera serial number (direct subscribers only)

If you subscribed directly via eufy (not through Apple/Google/PayPal), you will need your camera's serial number. Find it on the device label or in the eufy Security app under device Settings → 'Device Info'.

Contact eufy Support to cancel

For direct eufy subscriptions, self-service cancellation is not available in the app or web portal. Contact eufy support via: Email at support@eufylife.com, phone at +1 (800) 988-7973, or the support form at https://support.eufy.com/s/contact-us. Request cancellation and provide your camera serial number.

Cancel via App Store (iOS subscribers)

If subscribed through Apple: go to iOS Settings → tap your name at the top → 'Subscriptions' → tap 'eufy Security' → tap 'Cancel Subscription' and confirm.

Cancel via Google Play (Android subscribers)

If subscribed through Google Play: open Google Play Store → tap your profile icon → 'Payments & subscriptions' → 'Subscriptions' → tap 'eufy Security' → tap 'Cancel subscription' and follow the prompts.

Download important cloud footage before cancelling

Before your subscription ends, download any important video clips. In the eufy Security app, go to the 'Event' tab, select a clip, and tap the download icon. Cloud recordings will become inaccessible once the subscription period expires.

Confirm cancellation

For direct eufy cancellations, wait for a confirmation email from support. For App Store/Google Play cancellations, verify the subscription shows as cancelled in your respective subscription management screen. Auto-renewal will stop at the end of your current billing period.
