Log into Datadog
Go to app.datadoghq.com and sign in with your organization's admin account.
Open Organization Settings
Click on your name or organization in the bottom-left corner, then select 'Organization Settings' > 'Plan & Usage'.
Contact support or manage billing
Datadog requires contacting their sales or support team to cancel paid plans. Navigate to 'Billing' and find the cancellation option or click 'Contact Support'.
Submit cancellation request
Fill out the cancellation form or send an email to billing@datadoghq.com specifying your organization name, account details, and desired cancellation date.
Remove Datadog agents
While waiting for confirmation, begin uninstalling Datadog agents from your infrastructure to stop data ingestion and avoid further charges.
Confirm cancellation
Wait for a confirmation email from Datadog. Verify that billing has stopped in your account settings. Cancellation typically takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
