Can I still use paid features after cancelling?

Yes. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing cycle. You will not be charged again, but you retain access to all paid features until that date.

Will I get a refund when I cancel?

No. tawk.to's Terms of Service explicitly state that no refunds or credits are provided for cancellations or downgrades, regardless of how much time is left in the billing period.

How do I reactivate a cancelled subscription?

You can resubscribe at any time by returning to Administration > Billing > Purchases and Invoices and selecting the add-on or plan you want to re-enable.

Will cancelling delete my chat history or account data?

No. Cancelling a paid add-on does not delete your account or chat history. However, tawk.to states in its Terms of Service that you are responsible for backing up your own data, as they accept no liability for data loss.

Does cancelling remove the tawk.to branding from my widget immediately?

If you cancel the 'Remove Branding' add-on, the tawk.to branding will reappear on your chat widget once the current billing cycle ends.

Can I cancel through the mobile app?

No — the subscription cancellation must be done on desktop via the web dashboard. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, cancel through your device's subscription settings instead (iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions; Android: Play Store > Subscriptions).

Log in to your tawk.to dashboard

Go to dashboard.tawk.to and sign in with your admin account. You must be an account Admin to cancel a subscription — agent-level accounts do not have access to billing.

Open Administration settings

Click the gear/cog icon (Administration) in the left-hand sidebar of the dashboard.

Navigate to Billing

In the Administration menu, locate the Billing section and click 'Purchases and Invoices'.

Find your active subscription

On the Purchases and Invoices page, find the active paid add-on or plan you want to cancel (e.g. Remove Branding, Hired Agents, or Virtual Assistant).

Click 'Cancel subscription'

Click the 'Cancel subscription' link or button displayed beneath the plan you want to cancel, next to the Next billing date.

Select a cancellation reason

A pop-up window appears asking you to select a reason for cancelling. Choose the most appropriate option from the list provided.

Confirm cancellation

Click 'Yes, cancel subscription' in the confirmation dialog to complete the cancellation. The subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
