Will my Miro boards be deleted if I downgrade?

Your boards won't be deleted, but on the free plan only 3 boards can be editable. Other boards become view-only. You can choose which boards remain editable.

Can I export my boards before cancelling?

Yes, you can export boards as PDF, image, or CSV from the board's share menu. Do this for any boards that might become view-only.

What happens to team members on the free plan?

The free plan supports unlimited team members but with limited features. External guest access and some collaboration tools will be unavailable.

Log into Miro

Go to miro.com and sign in with your account.

Open team settings

Click on your team name in the left sidebar, then click the gear icon or select 'Settings'.

Navigate to Billing

In the Settings panel, click 'Billing' to view your current Starter, Business, or Enterprise plan.

Downgrade your plan

Click 'Change plan' and select the Free plan. Miro will show you the feature comparison and what you'll lose.

Confirm downgrade

Click 'Confirm downgrade' or 'Cancel subscription'. Your boards remain accessible but with free-tier limitations (3 editable boards).

Cancelling Miro means you'll lose unlimited editable boards, advanced features like voting, timer, and estimation, video chat, external guest access, and integrations. The free plan limits you to 3 editable boards.
