Can I cancel and get a refund on an annual plan?

No. Copper's Terms of Service state that all fees are non-refundable, including annual plan fees. There is no customer-initiated early termination exception. Refunds are only issued if Copper itself terminates the agreement or discontinues the service.

When does my access end after cancelling?

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period (next renewal date), not immediately. You retain full access until that date.

Can I access or export my data after cancellation?

Yes, but only for 30 days from the effective cancellation date. Use the built-in export tool in Settings before or immediately after cancellation to download your contacts, deals, and activity data.

Who can submit the cancellation request?

Only the Account Owner can cancel. Admins and regular users do not have access to the Billing section or the 'Request Cancellation' option. If needed, log in with the owner account or contact support@copper.com.

Can I reactivate my account after cancelling?

Generally yes — contact support@copper.com to reactivate. No official timeframe for reactivation eligibility is documented publicly.

What if I miss the cancellation deadline before auto-renewal?

Copper subscriptions auto-renew for a full term equal in length to the prior term. If you do not cancel before the last business day of your current term, you will be charged for another full period. No refunds are issued in this case.

Log in as Account Owner

Go to app.copper.com and sign in. Only the Account Owner can cancel — admins and regular users do not have access to billing cancellation.

Open Settings

Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the Copper interface to open Settings.

Navigate to Billing

In the Settings menu, click on 'Billing' to open your subscription and billing details.

Click 'Request Cancellation'

On the Billing page, locate and click the 'Request Cancellation' button listed under your plan details.

Complete the cancellation survey

Follow the on-screen prompts, which include a feedback/reason survey explaining why you are cancelling.

Export your data

Before cancellation takes effect, go to Settings and use the built-in data export feature to download your contacts, deals, and activity data. You have 30 days post-cancellation to retrieve data.

Check for confirmation email

A confirmation email is sent once the cancellation request is processed. Cancellation is scheduled for the next renewal date, not immediate. Allow up to 24 hours for the billing team to process it.
