Can I still use Screencastify after I cancel?

Yes. Cancelling only turns off auto-renewal. Your subscription remains fully active until the end of your current paid billing term.

Will I get a refund when I cancel?

No. Screencastify explicitly states that full or pro-rated refunds will not be issued regardless of when you cancel within your subscription term.

What happens to my recordings and data after I cancel?

Your recordings and account data are not automatically deleted when you cancel. They remain accessible through the end of your paid term. If you want your data deleted, you must submit a separate explicit data deletion request to Screencastify support.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. Disabling auto-renew does not close your account. You can re-enable your subscription or purchase a new plan at any time through My Account > Billing.

Sign in to Screencastify

Go to screencastify.com and sign in to your account using your Google account or email credentials.

Open account menu

Click on your profile avatar or account icon in the top-right corner of the Screencastify dashboard to open the account menu.

Navigate to Billing

Select 'My Account' from the dropdown menu, then click on the 'Billing' tab within your account settings.

Click 'Cancel Subscription'

Scroll down the Billing page and click the 'Cancel Subscription' button. This will disable auto-renew so your subscription will not renew at the end of the current billing term.

Confirm cancellation

A confirmation pop-up appears informing you that this turns off auto-renew and your subscription will cancel at the end of the term. Click 'Yes, Cancel' to confirm, or 'Never Mind' to keep the subscription active.
