Can I use Happo after cancelling a paid plan?

Yes. Happo offers a permanent Free tier with 5,000 snapshots per month and Chrome-only support at no cost. Downgrading to Free is the easiest way to stop paying while retaining account access.

Will I get a refund if I cancel mid-cycle?

Happo's pricing page states that plan changes are prorated within the billing cycle, suggesting partial-cycle credits exist when downgrading. There is no explicit refund policy published for full cancellations — ask support@happo.io for clarification.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

Happo's Terms of Service note that deleted content may remain in their systems or backups for some period of time. There is no published data retention window. Contact support if you need an export or deletion confirmation.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. You can upgrade from the Free plan to any paid tier at any time from the billing settings page. Plan changes are prorated, so you will only be charged for the remainder of the billing cycle.

Who can cancel — do I need to be the account owner?

Yes. Only users with the Admin role can access billing settings and make subscription changes. Regular team members do not see billing options.

Is there a phone number or chat option for cancellation?

No. Happo's only documented support channel is email at support@happo.io. Support is handled directly by the founders and is available 8am–5pm CET and 8am–5pm CT.

Log in as Admin

Go to https://happo.io/login and sign in. Only account Admins can manage billing — regular users do not have access to subscription settings.

Open account settings

Navigate to your account settings page at https://happo.io/a/{your-account-id}/account (replace {your-account-id} with your actual account ID, visible in the URL after logging in).

Find the Billing section

Scroll to the Billing section on the account settings page. Happo uses Stripe as its payment processor, so a 'Manage billing' or 'Customer portal' link may appear here.

Cancel or downgrade via Stripe portal

If a Stripe Customer Portal link is present, click it. Inside the portal, select 'Cancel plan' or choose to downgrade to the Free tier ($0/month, 5,000 snapshots, Chrome only — no credit card required).

Contact support if no self-serve option

If no cancel button is visible, email support@happo.io and request cancellation. State your account name/ID and the date you want the subscription to end. Support is staffed 8am–5pm CET and 8am–5pm CT and goes directly to the founders.

Confirm cancellation

Wait for a confirmation email from Happo or Stripe confirming your subscription has been cancelled or downgraded. Keep this for your records.
