Can I still use my service after turning off Auto Recharge?

Yes. Disabling Auto Recharge only stops the plan from renewing at expiry. Your current plan remains fully active until its expiry date, after which the service goes inactive.

Will I receive a refund for unused credit?

No. ALDImobile does not refund recharges or plans already purchased. Any remaining credit is permanently forfeited when you cancel, let the service expire, or port your number to another carrier.

Can I keep my phone number when leaving ALDImobile?

Yes, via a number port. Contact your new provider with your ALDImobile mobile number and date of birth — they initiate the transfer. Do not cancel your ALDImobile service beforehand, as the port process closes your account automatically.

How long does porting out take?

Number porting typically completes within 1–3 business days. Your new provider manages the process once you supply your mobile number and date of birth.

How do I cancel a Family Plan?

Log in to my.aldimobile.com.au, open the Family Plan dashboard, and remove each member using the 'Remove' option. After all Users are removed, the option to remove yourself as Owner appears — select it to close the Family Plan entirely.

How do I contact ALDImobile support for help cancelling?

Call 1300 989 000 from any phone (call charges may apply) or dial 2534 (ALDI) for free from your ALDImobile handset. Support hours are Monday–Sunday 8am–9pm AET. You can also send an eSupport message after logging in at my.aldimobile.com.au.

Log in to My ALDImobile account

Go to my.aldimobile.com.au and sign in with your email address and password. Alternatively, open the ALDImobile app on your phone.

Select your service number

On the account dashboard, click or tap the service number you want to stop billing for.

Locate the Auto Recharge slider

On the service menu screen, scroll to the plan and usage details section. Find the 'Auto Recharge' slider toggle.

Turn Auto Recharge Off

Move the 'Auto Recharge' slider from 'On' to 'Off'. Confirm the change when prompted. Your current plan will continue until its expiry date but will not automatically renew or charge your card again.

(Optional) Port your number to a new carrier

If you want to keep your phone number and move to another provider, contact your new carrier — not ALDImobile — and provide your mobile number and date of birth. Do NOT manually cancel your service first; the porting process cancels it automatically. All remaining credit is forfeited upon port-out.

(Family Plan owners only) Remove all members then close plan

Log in and go to the Family Plan dashboard. Remove each User individually using the 'Remove' option next to each member. Once all Users are removed, the option to remove yourself as Owner becomes available — select it to fully cancel the Family Plan.
