Will I lose my notes if I cancel?

No. All your notes and notebooks remain accessible after cancellation. Your account downgrades to the Free plan at the end of your billing period, where you can still view, edit, share, and export all existing notes.

What happens if I have more than 50 notes on the Free plan?

You can still read, edit, and export all existing notes, but you cannot create new notes or notebooks until your total is below 50. Notes in the Trash count toward this limit — empty the Trash to free up slots.

Can I get a refund after canceling?

Yes. Monthly plan subscribers can request a refund within 20 days of payment; annual plan subscribers within 60 days. Submit a support request and select 'Accounts and Subscriptions' → 'I'd like to receive a refund'. Apple/Google Play subscribers must request refunds through those platforms directly.

When does my paid access end after canceling?

Your subscription stays active until the end of your current billing period. You are not cut off immediately after canceling.

Can I reactivate my subscription later?

Yes. You can resubscribe at any time from the Billing Settings page. A 'Restore' button appears if your subscription is cancelled but still within the paid period.

How do I cancel if I subscribed through the App Store or Google Play?

You must cancel through Apple (Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Evernote → Cancel Subscription) or Google Play (Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Evernote → Cancel subscription). Evernote cannot cancel or refund App Store/Google Play subscriptions directly.

Go to evernote.com and log in to your account using your email and password.

Open Account Settings

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner, then select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu.

Verify cancellation

Check your email for a cancellation confirmation. You can also return to Billing Settings — if you see a 'Restore' button instead of a cancel option, your cancellation was successful.
