No. Service (data, calls, and texts) stops immediately upon cancellation. There is no grace period after the termination is confirmed.

Will I get a refund for unused data or prepaid balance?

No. Remaining data, calls, texts, and prepaid balance are forfeited upon cancellation and are not refundable.

Are there early termination fees?

Early termination fees (위약금) may apply if you are canceling during a contract discount period. The exact fee is displayed on the termination page before you confirm.

Does switching to another carrier automatically cancel my Freet line?

Yes. If you port your number to another carrier (번호이동), your Freet line is automatically canceled without needing a separate cancellation request.

Can I reactivate my account after cancellation?

You can sign up again, but some promotional plans may have a re-enrollment restriction period after cancellation. Check the plan terms before canceling.

What if I cannot cancel online — is there another way?

You can cancel by phone (SKT: 1661-2207, KT: 1577-4551, LGU+: 1588-3615) on weekdays 9:00–12:00 and 13:00–18:00, by visiting an authorized Freet dealer with your ID, or by submitting a 1:1 inquiry at freet.co.kr/customer/inquiry/form.

Go to www.freet.co.kr and click '로그인' (Login) in the top-right corner. Enter your credentials or use phone number authentication.

Cancel auto-recharge first

Before canceling, go to '마이페이지' (MyPage) → '자동충전 관리' (Auto-recharge Management) and disable auto-recharge to prevent unwanted charges after cancellation.

Navigate to termination page

From '마이페이지' (MyPage), select '요금제 관리' (Plan Management) → '해지 신청' (Termination Request), or go directly to www.freet.co.kr/mypage/operate/termination.

Review termination warnings

Read the termination notice carefully. The page will warn that remaining data, calls, and texts will be forfeited with no refund, and that early termination fees may apply if you are within a contract period.

Complete identity verification

Complete '본인 인증' (identity verification) via SMS authentication code sent to your registered phone number. Enter the received code and click '인증 확인' (Verify).

Submit cancellation request

Confirm all termination details and click '해지 신청' (Submit Termination). Service stops immediately upon completion.
