Will I lose access immediately after cancelling?

No. You retain full Excalidraw+ access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier.

What happens to my scenes after I cancel?

Your scenes are not deleted, but you lose access to cloud sync and Plus-only features. It is strongly recommended to export all scenes to .excalidraw, PNG, or SVG before your billing period ends, as cloud-stored scenes may become inaccessible on the free tier.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

No. All purchases are non-refundable per Excalidraw+'s Terms of Service. Cancelling stops future charges but does not generate a refund for the current period. You can contact support@excalidraw.com for goodwill consideration in exceptional cases.

Are there any cancellation fees or lock-in contracts?

Log in to Excalidraw app

Go to https://app.excalidraw.com and sign in to your Excalidraw+ account.

Export your scenes (recommended)

Before cancelling, export all important scenes to .excalidraw, PNG, or SVG format, as cloud sync access ends when your billing period expires.

Open account settings

Click your profile icon or account avatar in the top-right corner, then select 'Account Settings' or navigate directly to https://app.excalidraw.com/account/preferences.

Go to the Billing or Subscription section

Within Account Settings, locate the 'Billing' or 'Subscription' section showing your current Plus plan details.

Cancel subscription

Click the option to cancel your subscription. Follow any on-screen prompts to confirm the cancellation.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm the cancellation when prompted. You will retain full Excalidraw+ access until the end of your current billing period — cancellation takes effect at next renewal.
