Can I access my data after canceling?

Yes. For 30 days after termination, you can request account access to download your data by emailing Firebolt. After that 30-day window, Firebolt may permanently delete all stored data. Extended retention is available upon request for an additional fee.

Will I get a refund if I cancel early?

Generally, no. Firebolt's subscription agreement states fees paid are non-refundable and payment obligations are non-cancelable. Refunds of prepaid unused fees are only available if Firebolt materially breaches the agreement and fails to remedy it within 30 days.

How do I avoid being charged for the next renewal period?

You must provide written notice of non-renewal at least 30 days before your current subscription term ends. Email support@firebolt.io with your cancellation intent before that deadline. The subscription auto-renews for successive one-year periods without this notice.

Can I reactivate my Firebolt account after canceling?

You would need to contact Firebolt's sales team to set up a new subscription. If your account was not deleted, you may be able to re-enable it. Contact support@firebolt.io or visit firebolt.io/pricing to start a new plan.

How do I delete my account and personal data?

Send an account deletion request to hello@firebolt.io. For privacy/GDPR-related data deletion requests, contact privacy@firebolt.io. Firebolt will delete your stored data after the 30-day post-termination window unless you arrange extended retention.

What happens to my engines and databases when I cancel?

After cancellation, you will lose access to all Firebolt engines and databases. You should stop all running engines before canceling to avoid additional compute charges up until the termination date. Export all data during the 30-day post-termination access window.

Review your subscription terms

Log in to your Firebolt Workspace at go.firebolt.io and check your current subscription type. Firebolt subscriptions auto-renew annually — written notice of non-renewal must be given at least 30 days before your renewal date to avoid being charged for another term.

Export your data

Before canceling, export any data you need. After termination, Firebolt allows a 30-day window to request account access and download your data. After that window, all stored data may be permanently deleted.

Send written cancellation notice to Firebolt

Email support@firebolt.io (or hello@firebolt.io) with a written notice of non-renewal or termination request. Include your organization name, account ID (visible in Workspace settings), and the effective date you wish to cancel. Email counts as valid written notice under the subscription agreement.

Cancel via AWS Marketplace (if applicable)

If your Firebolt subscription is billed through AWS Marketplace, log in to your AWS account, go to AWS Marketplace > Manage subscriptions, find Firebolt, and select 'Cancel subscription'. This must be done in addition to notifying Firebolt directly.

Request account/data deletion (optional)

To have your Firebolt account fully deleted, send a separate email to hello@firebolt.io requesting account deletion. For data privacy or GDPR-related deletion requests, contact privacy@firebolt.io.

Await confirmation

Wait for a confirmation reply from Firebolt's support team acknowledging your cancellation. Keep this email as proof of your written notice. Confirm that no further charges will appear on your AWS Marketplace bill.
